Information for Presenters

Poster Display

On-site Attendance

As presenting author, your presence is requested onsite in Ponta Delgada and all presenting authors must be registered for the conference in order to obtain physical access to the conference venue. Presenters are asked to be available during coffee breaks to discuss their poster presentation with the audience.

On-site Poster Boards

  • Poster boards are in vertical format. The maximum poster size is 1200 mm height x 900 mm width.
  • Pins are used for attaching the poster to the poster board. These will be available at the presentation area, or consulting our staff at the facility desk.
  • Conference assistants in the poster area may assist authors in putting up or taking down their posters.

Preparation of Your Presentation

  • We suggest that you structure your poster by Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Highlight your main findings. Don’t hide your conclusions, consider putting them at eye level. The figures and tables could cover approximately 50% of the poster area.
  • An optimal lay-out of your poster will attract the attention of other Congress participants. Text should be easy to read at a 1-meter distance. Use color wherever possible.
  • QR (Quick Response) codes are allowed in the poster, however EFCAP2024 suggests avoiding links to websites containing blatant product advertising.
  • Please include yours and/or the corresponding author email address. This will prove especially useful if another Congress participant wishes to contact you about your work. Having copies of your material for onsite distribution is allowed.
