Abstracts

Submission guidelines

 

All abstracts must be submitted in English.  

Abstracts must be submitted using the form that can be downloaded here:

Once filled in, the corresponding author should send the abstract to the congress e-mail: efcap2024@gmail.com. Upon submission, the corresponding author will be notified by email. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and the decision will be issued on due course, through the corresponding author´s email.

 
Symposia

The call for the submission of symposia will open from December 1st, 2023 to March 1st 2024. Decision on symposia submissions will be made available by February 16th, 2024. The Scientific Committee can eventually invite proposed symposia to be changed to free oral or poster presentations if there are restrictions related with available rooms.

Symposia should be composed of 4 or 5 related talks. Each symposium talk should be 15 minutes long, with 5 minutes for questions. Symposia sessions will last for 1h30min.

Submission requirements

A symposium proposal must include:

  • Title of the symposium
  • Abstract of the symposium (max. 150 words), with a brief overview of the symposium theme and a brief description of each presentation
  • Chair: name, affiliation, and email address
  • Symposium keywords (max. 5)

Then, for each of the four or five presentations included in the symposium:

  1. Title
  2. Authors
  3. Presenter: name, affiliation, and email address
  4. Abstract (max. 200 words) with the following structure: (a) background and aims; (2) methods; (3) results/outcomes; and (4) conclusions.
 
Oral presentations and poster presentations

The call for the submission of oral presentations and poster presentations will open from December 1st 2023 until March 1st 2024. Decision on the oral/poster presentations submissions will be made available on February 29th 2024.

Submission requirements for both oral and poster presentations:

  1. Title
  2. Authors
  3. Presenter: name, affiliation, and email address
  4. Abstract (max. 200 words) with the following structure: (a) background and aims; (2) methods; (3) results/outcomes; and (4) conclusions.
  5. Keywords (max. 5)

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: To have your presentation included in the Scientific Program, at least the presenting author should be registered in the Congress as early as possible.
